of technologies centered
around seismic isolation, a fast-growing discipline that
draws on earthquake engineering, materials science, and
solid mechanics to achieve structural response modification
under the effects of earthquakes, vibrations and wind.
The journal, whose editorial board includes some of the
world's foremost authorities on seismic isolation,
publishes rigorously refereed papers with analytical,
computational, and experimental results.
The policies of Seismic Isolation and Protection Systems
are set by the editorial board. In particular, they will
promote broad dissemination, easy electronic access, and
permissive use of content to the greatest extent compatible
with survival of the journal.
